Martin is a qualified teacher with many years experience of teaching stained glass courses in Sheffield, Chesterfield and throughout South Yorkshire. He specialises in teaching stained glass but also runs mosaics and fused glass courses. Martin has taught stained glass classes for Sheffield College (at the Stocksbridge and Walkley Centres) and Chesterfield College (Infirmary Road).

Martin runs courses, workshops and bespoke one day workshops from his purpose built studio located in the basement of his home in Crosspool, Sheffield. These lessons are run with a maximum of four students ensuring a high level of individual tuition; classes are for beginners as well as the more experienced student.
