Martin’s uses the copper foil method (also known as Tiffany foil construction) to produce a range of hand crafted stained glass lamps, mirrors, nightlights, vases and window hangings.

Louis Comfort Tiffany, who was an outstanding artist of the American Art Deco movement, developed this method. Tiffany needed a way to manipulate flat glass into specialized forms, something virtually impossible with the traditional lead method of stained glass.  He developed a lighter, more flexible way to work with glass in copper foil.  This allowed for the elaborate designs of the lamps that carry his name to this day.

This gallery contains many of Martin's copper foil pieces which he has produced over the past ten years, please visit this site again as these ranges are being continuously extended as Martin’s portfolio of work expands and grows.
